A true temple of literature, the Michalski Foundation offers a library accessible free of charge to all, offering a wide panorama of modern and contemporary literature. A variety of collections provides the best possible representation of the scope. The Foundation's cultural space hosts temporary exhibitions and events always related to writing and literature.
On the heights of Morges, nearly 200 hectares of nature, as far as the eye can see, await you. 4'000 varieties of tree species from all over the world are to be admired. The park is open all year round but the reception is only open during the Summer season. The Wood Museum is also open only during the Summer period. Trails have been laid out to help you discover every corner of the park. In the park, picnic tables and fire places are available for walkers.
The actress lived for many years in Tolochenaz, a small village close to Morges. Many traces of her visit are still visible in the town. Take the time to discover Audrey Huepburn through our walk, which pays homage to her as well as to Ignace Paderewski, a Polish pianist and statesman, who also spent a few years in Tolochenaz.
The children's paradise exists, it's the Signal de Bougy! The Tulip Festival embellishes the town of Morges, particularly its Independence Park during the months of April and May. Mid March - mid April: magnolias and cherry trees bloom in the Arboretum in Aubonne. The village of Eclépens is embellished by daffodils From May to October: the gardens of the Château de Vullierens are in bloom. From July to October: the quays of Morges are home to dozens of different kinds of dahlias.
The Château de Morges dates from the 13th century. Today it is home to the following permanent museums: figurine museum, Vaud Gendarmerie Museum, Artillery Museum, Museum of the Military History of the Vaud region and the Ignace Paderewski Museum, pianist and patriot. In addition to these permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions are organised.

You can take advantage of the Wine Tasting Pass to go and taste in a cellar or wait for the events of the Caves ouvertes vaudoises (takes place every year during the Pentecost weekend). Otherwise, the little tourist train of Morges takes you every Thursday evening to a winegrower in the surroundings of Morges. You can visit the cellar and taste the wines before returning to Morges by train.
