Mollendruz pass - L'Isle

This hike in the heart of the Parc Jura Vaudois takes you to discover preserved nature.

The descent begins at the Mollendruz pass, in the direction of Pré de l'Haut.
In the passage of the Combe de la Neige, take the paved road to the alpine pasture of Pré de l'Haut Dessous. Then, leave the marked path to take an unpaved return that descends the Combe de la Verrière to the refuge of La Fougère. You can enjoy this charming place to take a well-deserved break.

A few steps along the road to the viewpoint and then take the path that leads you to the northern entrance of Montricher.
Take the opportunity to stop by the Fromagerie Gourmande: the production of Gruyère AOP cheese will no longer have any secrets for you.

At the other end of the village, you can see the famous Jan Michalski Foundation building in front of the forest. It hosts an exhibition space and a large library, on 4 floors.

The last bit of the itinerary is flat towards L'Isle.

In L'Isle, discover this charming village and its majestic castle often called "the small Versailles".
