This Pro Natura Vaud site will make you travel in the south with its 83 hectares of dry grass, twisted oaks and invasive boxwoods.
Ferreyres’s boxwoods are made up of oak and boxwoods forests, in an almost Mediterranean climate reminiscent of the south. This forest has been exploited by man for over 1000 years with the Yellow carry with traces of iron and lime kilns dating back to Roman times. It’s now a Pro Natura Vaud reserve with magnificent clearings and diverse flora.
