On a surface of 30’000 square metres, the floral festival counts 190,000 bulbs that will make you discover more than 380 different varieties of tulips of different living species (simple, double, triumph and many more).
In order to extend the flowering period, the assortment contains also some early and late tulips. If the tulip stars in the composition of the clumps, the public can also admires other flowers like narcissus, hyacinth and biennial plants.
Every year, a contest is organized between the landscaper floriculturists and plant nurserymen apprentices studying at the professional centre of Morges and four of their projects are chosen and planted in October. In addition to the contest, two massifs are also designed and planted by young people from the Repuis and two by employees of the Lavigny garden workshop.
